Software Developer

You will perform development service for IT MMDC COLLABORATION SOLUTIONS DEVELOPMENT applications. The scope includes development for new projects, development required for maintenance activities (incidents, changes and problems). You will collaborate closely with peers, IT & business stakeholders to ensure that the development activities focuses on business outcomes & customer satisfaction. You will also work on the Agile ways of working currently implemented in JTI and will work on specific workstreams that contains web/mobile applications specific for a business area.

Responsibilities

• Perform development activities, including:
  • Write clean and scalable code
  • Review, update and refactor existing code
  • Perform development activities related to projects/changes/incidents
• Analysis and evaluation activities:
  • Analyse the requirements and identified key areas to be completed
  • Provide technical analysis and effort estimations
• Testing and deployment activities, including:
  • Perform testing activities in order to ensure proper code quality
  • Support the process of automatic delivery of the solution

Requirements:

• Experience in Information Technology, preferably in international corporations
• Development experience using Microsoft 365 technologies and Microsoft Power Platform
• Experience on Azure DevOps and Agile practises
• University/college degree or equivalent work experience on computer sciences
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Understanding on the Microsoft Technology Stack. Ability to implement technical solutions using modern paradigms
• Hand on experience implementing solutions uising Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 components
• Experience on Azure DevOps usage (Azure Boards and Build & Release)
• Understanding on Azure PaaS solutions and services (LogicApps, Azure Functions)
• Good conceptual knowledge and hands-on experience on agile software delivery methodologies
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work in a highly dynamic and changing environment.
• Knowledge of software design and testing methodology
• Any Microsoft certification would be an advantage
