GBS - GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN PROJECT SME (TEMPORARY)

The role exists to support GSC projects in GBS as part of the BCP RU (Leaf & NTM). This opportunity is of a temporary nature and is expected to last for the duration of the project for 12 months. The role holder will be a liaison between various collaborators involved into the project (Project Manager, FC Team, LEAF Supply, LEAF Outbound, LEAF Quality, Global Procurement, Global Logistics, Factories, HK SC,  etc.) and GBS Delivery team. During the project period, Project SME will help define the scope of each stage of the projects (first priority implementation, etc.), will participate in processes walkthrough, process redesign, establishing process controls and measurement, and suggesting changes to GBS GSC processes. The holder of this position will also collect requirements for automation and will closely work with IT representatives (BTS, etc.) to ensure the automation reflects the business and GBS needs.

 

Participation in this project is an excellent development opportunity. The role holder will get acquainted with Agile project management framework and tools, will get familiar with Lean Six Sigma basics, understand principles of process redesign, including design of controls and measurements, will acquire communication and influencing skills. This project is also an excellent exposure to modern technological solutions (bots, intelligent automation, robotics processing, S4H).

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Execution of GSC CS projects related to BCP RU and changes brought by Project Athena.
  • Projects coordination in collaborative way with the different stakeholders at all sourcing locations.
  • Tracking progress of the projects and providing projects' status to Line Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Influence key decision makers and business partners in order to deliver project milestones thought all phases of project life cycle.
  • Coordinate assigned  project resources, for the detailed execution of project deliverables in each of the phases.
  • Preparation of Business Cases for Improvement Project Initiatives.
  • Manage projects applying best practices and tools for tasks-, risk-, assumptions-, issues- and dependencies- management. Influence Risk / Issue owners to implement mitigation actions.
  • Build appropriate project measurement tools and trackers - as needed.
  • Track and communicate changes to the project scope and schedule using appropriate verification techniques involving project stakeholders for effective approvals.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor/University Degree in Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years overall experience in GBS GSC organizations; with minimum 1 year in GSC CS Process related roles with consistent track record in cross-functional projects and leading the complex projects.
  • In-depth understanding of overall GSC (Global Supply Chain) process is important. 
  • Must have proven expertise in SAP.
  • Previous experience in working in a project / agile project management, Six Sigma white belt is a plus.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP-P40 transactions related to GSC CS.
  • Good understanding and applied knowledge of JTI processes in scope of GBS GSC Function.
  • Strong analytical skills, data collection, analysis, insights creation and visualizations.
  • Advanced Excel skills (connecting and consolidating external data, power queries, pivot reports, etc.)
  • Process Mapping skills using Microsoft Visio, other process mapping tools is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and influencing skills.
  • Ability to engage people.
  • Team player spirit, open minded and flexible.
