WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE

• Organizes work of assigned cell (cell works in 24/7 mode) in order to provide optimal utilization of production capacity, high-quality products and maintaining safety in the work cell.
• Owns 24/7 Safety, Quality, Delivery & Productivity area results.
• Responsible for building team capability through active coaching of the cell line pair leader and definition of training requirements of the line team.
• Participates in key planned activities to role model and coach teams.
• Responsible for driving/leading improvement plans for the area.
• Being a role-model of high standard for the cell team.
• Manage and inspire the cell team's performance and career and drive their retention and commitment.
• When there is a gap in team's results and capability, hold your team leaders accountable.

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for the safety, quality, production results and compliance within assigned cell and ensure that required volume will be delivered with the planned and budgeted headcount. Performs daily audits of the machine functioning status, systems and management principles and orders / implements corrective actions.

1. Ensure volumes are produced in full in a timely manner against production plan and consistently provide accurate inventories in the area by Process Order reconciliation and closure to avoid inventory cost and eliminate loss.

1. Avoid incidents by instigating the 'zero quality incidents' mentality and culture in the area by constantly reiterating this during toolbox meeting ensuring that everyone in the team understands that quality is an utmost priority.

1. Prevents and avoids incidents by ensuring 'zero safety incidents' mentality and culture in the area by cascading all safety communications from EHS.

1. Collaborates well with Process Lead and Maintenance Lead to balance resources in order to achieve Make Pack department operational goals as well as building high performing team by providing the necessary trainings.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Technical, engineering, mechanical, electrical education
                     Knowledge of technical and technological issues.

Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Team Leader in an international company.                              

• Experience with managing technicians &operators, and able to come up with solutions for production processes optimization and establishment

• Administrative and team management skills. Knowledge of tobacco industry will be an additional advantage.

  Language skills: Proficient in English language both oral and written communication.

  Functional skills: Computer skills (Ms Office).
