P&C Business Partner Manager

 

WHAT IS THIS ROLE ABOUT?

The P&C Business Partner Manager plays a strategic role in aligning People & Culture initiatives with JTI’s business objectives. Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership, this role drives organizational effectiveness through workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and compliance. Leads the implementation of HR strategies, supports organizational design, and ensures optimal staffing and succession planning. Additionally, the role oversees labor relations, performance management, and budget adherence while championing a culture of continuous improvement and employee well-being.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO? 

 

Business Partnering

  • Develop and apply P&C strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall JTI strategy in order to support current and future business needs.
  • Oversee the organization health by the means of key HR metrics and ensure Employee Engagement is supported in a close collaboration with P&C Business Support pillar
  • Lead HC planning process within the organization: organize pre-ASP discussions, agree on the final numbers, and implement plans
  • Perform HC reporting for respective accounts. Responsible for HR KPIs accomplishment (Headcount, Training hours, Turnover ratio, etc.).
  • Advice employees and management on all P&C related matters.

 

Organizational Design & Staffing

  • In cooperation with Functional Heads review organizational structure and advocate to ensure optimal and efficient set up of each account in line with Organization Design/Route to Market/TO principles.
  • Oversee sourcing activities within organization including shortlisted recruitment, talent assessment, promotions and transfers. Proactively identify recruitment needs while taking into consideration HC Performance, Talents and Career management
  • Own Talent to Value agenda and makes/influences decisions that maximize the value from the talent (deployment, development, motivation, retention, etc.)
  • Drive Succession planning processes across the areas/departments in line and in cooperation with Regional & global P&C via timely and Talent/Succession Reviews.
  • Ensure Performance Management processes effective maintenance via monitoring, coaching, consulting of line managers. Low performance and disciplinary cases are addressed via establishing and deployment of appropriate policies and procedures.

 

Labor Relations and Compliance

  • Drive the compliance agenda in the field force and develop the strategy of misconduct prevention.
  • Advise on due process deployment and other local LR matters

 

Budget management and Rewards

  • Accountable for budgets associated with People & Culture BP and ensure that budgetary controls are maintained, and that spending authority is granted in accordance with Company policies.
  • Deploy Rewards related processes: lead ASR, oversee comp scenarios, drive relevant benefits deployment

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in People & Culture roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, including organizational design, talent acquisition, performance management, and labor relations.
  • Solid understanding of local labor laws and compliance practices.
  • Proven ability to lead talent management and succession planning initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Experience in HR data analysis and reporting, including KPIs such as headcount, turnover, and training hours.
  • Skilled in budget management, compensation planning, and benefits deployment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with a strong business acumen and collaborative mindset
