Customer Service Associate

 

Purpose: Collaborate with markets, customers, JTI SA, and related functions to support forecasting, planning, production, and selling of finished and semi-finished goods. Ensure compliance with customer requirements, minimize write-offs, and maintain strong working relationships by coordinating shipments and monitoring product developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate export order planning and shipment optimization while maintaining accurate master data and processing orders in SAP. Ensure timely and compliant delivery of goods and manage shipment-related documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to meet market demands, avoid stockouts, and address issues like tax changes, promotions, and regulatory updates. Recommend solutions to challenges impacting business performance.
  • Ensure JSOX compliance by processing invoices, supporting audits, and collaborating with Finance on accounts reconciliation and month-end activities. Manage government-mandated reporting.
  • Oversee sales contracts and shipping documentation, ensure proper tax stamp availability, and coordinate processes with factory departments to comply with market legislation. Support additional projects as required.
  • Adhere to and promote health and safety guidelines, participate in safety training, report incidents, and maintain safe workplace practices

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in client-facing roles within export environments or international trade. Strong analytical skills and business acumen required
  • Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP S/4HANA or ECC, SAP APO/IBP, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI). Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and FMCG manufacturing practices.
