People & Culture Manager

 

 

Position purpose:

 

Manage and organize all activities related to Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, Diversity Equity, Inclusion and Employee Engagement. Implementing overall recruiting strategies, talent management processes in line with JTI Iberia business needs. Working closely with all relevant stakeholders to coordinate Talent Management and L&D agenda and actions, which are a vital element of the new Building Leadership Capability approach. Be a point of contact for main milestones of the employees life cycle.

 

What will you do – responsibilities:

 

BUSINESS PARTNERING

Proactively and independently support line managers and heads of JTI Global functions based in Madrid in identifying key people, business and organization challenges & opportunities, and partners with stakeholders to ensure eective solutions are developed and implemented from the beginning to end. 

 

TALENT ACQUISITION
Ensure that recruitment efforts align with both current and future business needs, ensuring timely and effective fulfillment of all hiring requirements. Partner with line/hiring managers to identify and address recruitment needs. Collaborate closely with the Global Business Services (GBS) as the outsourced recruitment center. Manage external recruitment processes only when appropriate, in coordination with JTI policies and best business practices.

 

TALENT MANAGEMENT
Maximize employee potential through exceptional Talent Management practices always aligned with HQ&VF BPs, following global ARCI guidelines.

 

CULTURE, INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL EMPLOYER BRANDING

Implement global and local strategies to enhance brand awareness and establish JTI as a leading employer in Iberia ensuring that we continue to maintain our position as the Top Employer, maintain employee engagement by organizing and coordinating surveys and global projects like EES, Pulse Check, Inspire, etc. 

 

LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT
Act in accordance with Our Way values (Start with us, Make it count, Welcome challenge and Shape tomorrow today) and promote them in the business culture. Collaborate closely with the global L&D team to leverage opportunities for the growth and development of our talent. Select and implement appropriate learning methods (e.g., mentoring/coaching, on-the-job training, digital, classroom) and explore new learning approaches. Identify and assess current and future learning needs in partnership with line managers and the local executive committee. Develop and execute local L&D strategies and programs, fostering a self-directed learning approach among employees. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of learning programs. 

 

DIVERSITY EQUITY AND INCLUSION

Managing the diversity Equity and inclusion initiatives such as GES (Equal Pay and Equal Opportunities), Internship Programs (Bright Up, Make it Bright), etc. in order to assure the grant of certifications and compliance within these programs. 

 

AGILE POOL

Leverage agile methodologies to lead and support Local and Corporate Projects across various Talent and broader P&C areas for the Iberian markets. 

 

 

Who are we looking for – requirements:

 

  • University Degree; a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources is highly valued
  • 5+ years of solid experience in similar positions, preferably within an international company
  • Fluency in English (Spanish as a plus)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and SAP. Power BI as a plus.
