Horeca Channel & B&T Manager
Position Purpose:
The Horeca Channel & B&T (Border & Touristic) Manager is responsible for optimizing the performance and strategic contribution of assigned channels and categories. This includes ensuring the assortment strategy aligns with consumer and channel needs. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and results-driven, with a strong sense of accountability and enthusiasm for execution. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Sales, to define strategies and ensure effective deployment.
What will you do – responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial strategy for the Horeca Channel and Border & Touristic Segment within the Spanish Market, ensuring effective budget management and team leadership.
- Develop and implement strategic plans by anticipating future needs, adopting a consumer-centric approach, and leveraging the JTI portfolio along with field insights to drive growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance digital tools, defining WHAT and HOW strategies are deployed, using data-driven insights to maximize channel performance and empower the Field Force Team to meet objectives.
- Propose and drive business initiatives that support decision-making processes, contributing to strengthening JTI’s market position.
- Gain valuable exposure to commercial strategy and operations, with an opportunity to shape business decisions and further consolidate JTI as a market leader.
Who are we looking for – requirements:
- 3-4 years 'experience in a similar role within FMCG or a consultancy company.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Good business understanding with a high level of commercial mindset.
- An aptitude for problem solving and curiosity.
- Resilience to work in a fast-evolving environment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritizing and handling multiple tasks, whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communicational skills.
- Commercial experience and negotiation skills is a plus.
