M&S Ecosystem Optimization Manager

Position:

 

BTS M&S provides market-leading digital experiences and innovative capabilities to help JTI engage with our consumers and customers in a frictionless and cost-effective manner to enable Vision 2030.

This role is part of the Digital Market Success team, which has as a mission to support markets to fully leverage the new digital ecosystem of technologies we are putting in place to support RRP growth, as well as feeding into the global M&S product owners to continuously optimize and build new digital technology solutions to help drive the growth of RRP in markets.

With our Ploom X geo-expansion well underway, it is time to introduce this role whose objective will be to ensure market performance success by effectively coordinating as well as accelerate digital capability building, grow JTI’s digital maturity and ensure that our technology solutions support the business to deliver on RRP growth objectives

The BTS M&S Ecosystem Optimization Manager will be in charge of ensuring that our integrated Consumer & Customer Ecosystem delivers all digital capabilities needed by the markets to successfully launch, activate and grow our RRP portfolio.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Be a trusted business partner for the markets, understanding their challenges, educating on how to best leverage technology and bringing new opportunities to be considered through user-centric design thinking approach
  • Provide input to Global M&S product owners and BTS Consumers and Customers Ecosystem platform owners to continuously enhance existing technology solutions, add new solutions and provide input to achieve a fully integrated Consumer and Customer ecosystem
  • Be accountable for the end-to-end project management of "DES Flows" from idea to execution, a new methodology aimed at ensuring that our technology solutions deliver a market-leading user experience to all users (consumers, retailers, employees), from pilot to integration with business objectives to help scale all RRP markets. This includes all ideas are assessed, qualified and priorities before translating them into global and local technology roadmaps, and coordinate synchronized delivery of initiatives requiring integrated development
  • Contribute to actively share digital best practices and key learnings across markets
  • Provide tracking and report the progress of initiatives to various stakeholders across global and markets

 

Requirements:

 

  • University Degree in Computer or Technical Science, plus additional business education
  • Alternatively Degree in Business Administration, plus strong IT background
  • Certifications (marketing & sales technology) represent a plus
  • Executive leadership training (JTI or other)
  • + 10 years experience in Digital Transformation & Innovation, ideally both on business and IT side
  • Solid understanding of marketing & sales function within JTI and tobacco industry
  • Team management experience & proven success in roles with strategic outlook
  • Seasoned Project Manager (waterfall / agile as well as scaled agile) & proven track record of successfully liaising  between business and technology
  • Experience in engaging and managing with third party providers - proven relationship with D&IT strategic partners is a plus
  • Fluent in English in speaking and writing (additional languages are a plus)
