Cycle Planning Manager
As the Cycle Planning Manager, you are responsible for leading the operational planning cycles within the assigned region and/or channel. You will consolidate inputs from Trade Marketing, Distribution, Training, and Capacity Planning to develop robust, data-driven cycle plans that translate market strategic objectives into calendar of activities and ensure successful execution at the point of sale (POS).
What will you do:
1) High Level Area Planning
- Translate market A&SP objectives into strategic executional plan per branch and territory
- Lead the creation of calendar of activities per branch and/or channel with wider M&S
2) Cycle Planning
- Lead the end-to-end cycle planning process within the assigned region and/or channel (including cycle brief preparation, chairing of cross-functional cycle submission meeting, cycle KPI definition, cycle plan communication, overseeing cycle implementation) to ensure strategic direction is reflected in each cycle’s operational activities
- Ensure activities in the cycle are prioritized and aligned with wider M&S to ensure optimal use of Field Sales resource
- Develop comprehensive cycle briefs outlining objectives, programs, tools, and timelines
- Project manage all requirements to ensure a successful execution of a cycle plan (e.g. merchandising materials delivery, presentation, selling tools)
3) Capacity Management
- Define optimal resource allocation for assigned region and/or channel matching the cycle requirements with available routes and working days of a particular cycle.
- Ensure the appropriate time allocated per activity in each call type are understood by Sales Force
4) Cycle Implementation and Review
- Cascade cycle briefing to all CBU Stakeholders (ACSMs, FMZMs, RTM, FFCG, RFM, P&C BP).
- Work with Sales Planning & Analysis team to analyze performance and learnings from previous cycles and recommend refinements to cycle plans based on data and stakeholder feedback
- Ensure that bottom-up salesforce input is systematically gathered and reflected in the review process
Who are we looking for:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance or any related field
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales planning, cycle planning or any other Sales/Field Force management roles, preferably with multinational FMCG.
