Brand Operations Manager
 

As a co-brand steward, the incumbent manages the Reduced-Risk Products brand in the Philippines with a focus on specific channels or segments. They develop sustainable Reduced-Risk Products growth strategies that are globally aligned, consumer and commercially relevant, rooted in cross-category/consumer opportunities, and aligned with the overall brand strategy.

The role involves activating and adapting brand plans during the Annual Plan period, leveraging a strong understanding of the brand, consumer behavior, and market channels. They ensure flawless execution across marketing levers such as product innovation, communication, promotions, and pricing.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the RRP (Reduced-Risk Products) Brand Manager on strategic planning and brand Annual Plans.
  • Driving brand commercialization efforts, including New Product Developments and launches with cross-functional teams.
  • Managing budgets with Finance and overseeing demand/supply planning with Supply Chain and Factory.

 

As the Brand Operations Manager in the area of Marketing, you will:

  • Brand Strategy Management: Identify issues and opportunities, analyze performance, and develop growth strategies using marketing levers such as communications, promotions, portfolio management, and pricing.
  • Strategic Planning: Generate consumer insights and co-author brand Annual & Strategic Plans with the Reduced-Risk Products Brand Manager.
  • Localization & Execution: Translate brand strategies into impactful initiatives while ensuring adherence to brand positioning and guidelines, collaborating Consumer Experience, Marketing Communications & PR, Digital Operations, and Field Marketing teams.
  • Project Leadership: Ensure seamless implementation of brand projects through stakeholder collaboration, agile project management, and creative development.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze cross-category trends, competitive dynamics, and brand health metrics to develop growth strategies, collaborating with key partners to address business opportunities.
  • Resource Management: Oversee brand budgets, supply chain coordination, and sales and operations planning processes to ensure efficient operations and avoid disruptions.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing or a business-related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of proven marketing experience, preferably in industries like Reduced-Risk Products, fast-moving consumer goods, or electronics.
  • Expertise in strategic brand management, product development and launches, digital marketing, consumer insights, project management, and brand positioning and communications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Passionate about understanding consumer behavior and building strong brands.
  • Experience in team management, with a proactive approach to empowering and developing team members.
  • Outstanding project management skills, capable of handling multiple, complex projects effectively.
  • Results-driven with the ability to balance immediate deliverables and long-term strategic goals.
  • Skilled in synthesizing diverse perspectives and finding practical solutions to drive progress.
