Job title: Sales Manager Provinces (South)

We are looking for a Sales Manager Provinces (South) to join the ambitous & passionate JTI Angola Sales Team.                                                

What this position is about: 

 

To be successful as a Sales Manager Provinces (South) the incumbent will accountable for directing all business activities of the indicated Region and identifying and developing team, additionally the Sales Manager (South) will implement the business sales strategies and programs to achieve sales volume, distribution and expansion objectives in line with the mission of growing the business profitability.

 

Responsibilities: 


• Achieve monthly/annual sales targets by implementing sales/marketing programs;

• Track agreed KPIs, proposes targets and forecasts, tracking achievements;

• Effectively managing and coaching the regional sales team; 
• Ensure proper management of the micro-distribution team;
• Participate in the development and implementation of trade plans that support corporate objectives;

• Work closely with key account management to identify profitable opportunities and give support in the provinces;

• Lead the provinces sales team by providing performance measures and feedback through the company performance management system; 
• Keep management updated on critical issues, program evaluation, competitive activities, and market conditions to maximize opportunities and best practices;

• Establish and continuously maintain effective lines of communication with sales personnel to collect and update competitors' activity and market information; 

• Work closely with and support the Sales Director in achieving the company's sales development objectives expanding into new regions to meet business development opportunities, including expansion in existing markets;

• Recruit, motivate, and guide the team's professional development, reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent;

                 
                                    

Who we are looking for – Requirements:

  • University degree in business administration, finance, or marketing;
  • Fluent in Portuguese & English;                                            
  • 8-10 years of sales experience in multi-national FMCG organizations,  tobacco experience preferred;
  • Strong negiotation skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. 
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills;
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, can work independently with demonstrated strong work ethic;
