Fleet Supervisor 
 

What this position is about – Purpose:

 

Responsible for managing the company’s fleet operations to ensure optimal performance, compliance, and cost efficiency. Reporting to the People & Culture Director, this role oversees the fleet's maintenance, scheduling, and administration while supporting employee mobility needs. The Fleet Supervisor ensures that all operations are aligned with company policies, safety regulations, and sustainability goals.

 

What will you do – Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s fleet, including vehicle allocation, usage, and maintenance. Develop and maintain an efficient vehicle scheduling system to meet organisational needs. Monitor fleet performance metrics and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure regular servicing, repairs, and inspections of all vehicles to maintain safety and reliability. Monitor and enforce compliance with local laws, licensing, and company policies. Maintain accurate records of vehicle insurance, registrations, and inspections.
  • Monitor fleet-related costs, including fuel, repairs, insurance, and maintenance. Identify opportunities to reduce operational expenses without compromising safety or performance. Provide regular reports on fleet expenditure and budget adherence to the P&C Director.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture team to ensure employee mobility needs are met. Assist with onboarding processes for employees requiring vehicles, including training on policies and safety. Act as a point of contact for employees regarding fleet-related concerns and inquiries.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the secure operation of all fleet vehicles. Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or violations involving company vehicles. Conduct regular driver training sessions on safety and fuel-efficient driving practices. Assist the P&C Director in developing and updating fleet policies and procedures. Ensure clear communication and consistent enforcement of fleet policies across all departments.

 

Whom are we looking for – Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Fleet Management, or a related field.
  • Fluent in Portuguese & English
  • Proficiency in fleet management systems and software. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety standards, and compliance requirements. Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage drivers and collaborate with teams. Valid driver’s license.
