Job title: Financial Planning & Analysis Associate DAM (DRC, Angola & Mozambique)

What this position is about:
To be successful as a Financial Planning & Analysis Associate DAM you should be able to collect data form various sources, conduct analysis and reporting on financial information in a meaningful, accurately, timeously and interpretive way.
Responsibilities:
- Support in the preparation of financial planning information within a 3 year horizon in order to facilitate business decision making and risk management, including sales figures, pricing, P&L, Balance sheet, finished goods inventory planning and production planning;
- Assist in the preparation of the subsequent updates of the Annual plan (Latest Estimates 2 updates/pa) that includes the revision of the base assumptions.
- Support in providing required input for Regional/Global Performance management meetings that includes a financial and economic update in order to facilitate timeous decision making.(10 updates/pa);
- Suport in monitoring the annual plan in terms of analysis of variances, actual vs. plan, PY and LE's;
- Participate in the calculation and update of transfer prices between entities in compliance with JTI's Transfer pricing guidelines, Distributor Agreements & tax structures;
- Assist and share with the business the gross margins of each Brand Family, highlighting any risk to the Profit target.
- TM1 model update:
- Load actual financials and volumes on a monthly basis;
- Create and balance new scenarios as required;
- Load product cost for each budgeting scenario from JTI inhouse portal (IBP);
- Upload submissions from TM1 to GPM;
- Liaise with TM1 consultants as necessary;
Who we are looking for – Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar;
- Minnium 5 years experience in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting or Finance Reporting in a multinational environment such as BIG 4;
- Fluent in English and Portuguese, French will be an advantage;
- Strong research and data analysis skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint and Power BI;
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams;
