Purpose
The position is responsible for leading the implementation of the Global Integrated Work Systems (IWS) Strategy in Malawi. This includes creation of new standards and continuous improvement of production capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
IWS Strategy
-
Leading local strategy implementation. This includes coaching and leading the leadership team through ownership of pillars and develop understanding of the IWS strategy within the organization
Continous Improvement
-
Leading continuous improvement programs and projects.
Change Management
-
Leading the mindset shift driven by the implementation of IWS. This also includes training, facilitating and leading improvement events including process certification.
IWS Competencies
-
Identifying needed competencies and developing them within the team. This includes sharing best practices and learnings to support the implementation of the IWS Pillars.
Qualifications and Experience
-
Bachelor Degree in Sciences in Engineering or equivalent.

5 or more years of experience in leadership in the production environment.

Practical experience in the use of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement methods.

Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001).
