Consumer Experience Associate

 

He/she will join a dynamic and fast paced environment, working closely with the Consumer Experience Manager and Brand Lead to generate strategies on consumer engagement through in depth understanding of consumers journey, to grow brand equity & presence.

He/she will be responsible to develop and execute all consumer touchpoints in the retail landscape including merchandising units. Plan, develop and produce communication materials, align, execute and monitor initiatives in retail channels. Assist in the execution of on-ground consumer engagement and communication activities; will also work closely to collaborate with other Marketing & Sales functions to ensure consistency of brand equity and implementation of brand strategies.

 

As the Consumer Experience Associate in the area of Marketing, you will: 

 

  • Develop and execute all touchpoints including brand store, pop-ups, roving kiosks & retail merchandising.

  • Plan and execute events alongside agency including engagement and communication activities.

  • Develop necessary promotional materials for all on-ground events including the set up of brand store and kiosks.

  • Create, develop and execute 1-2-1 initiatives and continuously improve to drive engagement, acquisition, trial and build the equity of the brand. 

  • Ensure all consumer-related initiatives on-ground are within the regulatory landscape and all activities are based on relevant consumer insights and understanding.

  • Responsible for plannograms to ensure maximum reach to consumers.

  • Think consumer-centric to support Field Sales in in-store execution with the necessary SOP, toolkits and analysis of the retail environment.

  • Plan, develop and produce all communication materials for retail channels.

  • Plan, align, execute and monitor all retail initiatives with the Sales Team.

  • Plan and execute initiatives for specialty stores (eg: horeca, NEO) working in close collaboration within relevant stakeholders to ensure a holistic experience for our consumer.

  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors activities to identify opportunities and key issues in order to develop the most effective communication tools within the legislation.

  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against objectives (ROI and KPIs). 

  • Responsible for all contact with global / local digital agency and management of projects contracted to the agencies.

  • Manage timelines and negotiate communication budgets allocated to the agencies. Make annual assessments the agencies' performance and take corrective actions if necessary.

 

Requirements: 

 

  • University degree (required).

  • Minimum 4 years relevant managerial experience in FMCG marketing function and equipped with the knowledge of project management. 

  • Good understanding of full marketing mix.

  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.

  • Knowledgeable in delivering and implementing marketing activations.

  • Highly creative with ability to think out of the box. 

  • Has strong agency and project management skills.

  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.

  • Strong analytical skills and data driven thinking. Comfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets.

  • Good understanding of operational constraints with strong executional reflex and solution-driven mindset. 

  • Appreciation of legislation / taxation, external relations, marketing standards in your industry. 

  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills. Team player.

  • Both global & regional experience (desirable).
