P&C Specialist

 

What this position is about – Purpose:

 

As a P&C Specialist, an incumbent is responsible for the overall HR Administration and Compensation & Benefits (C&B) processes for local and international assignees in line with local and global JTI policies, procedures and processes. The job is included to work on budgeting (AP) and forecasting (LE) as well as reporting for all payroll-related elements in line with JTI global deadlines.

 

What will you do – Responsibilities:

 

  • Compensation Management
  • Supervise external payroll service providers and guarantee data accuracy in monthly payroll.
  • Conduct regular market research to ensure the organization’s compensation and benefits offerings are competitive and appealing.  
  • Ensure that compensation packages are competitive, aligned with industry standards, and compliant with legal regulations.
  • Time Management (Ensure accuracy on leave between SAP and Labor Legislation entitlement)                                                                   
  • Manage the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
  • Assist in the development and execution of incentive, bonus, and reward programs.
  • Planning and Budgeting
  • Assist in the creation and management of HR-related budget planning, including compensation, benefits, and employee programs.
  • Track and monitor expenses related to employee compensation and benefits to ensure alignment with the annual budget.
  • Work closely with finance and senior leadership teams to provide insights on budget forecasting and financial planning.
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and HR policies to mitigate risk to the organization.
  • Assist in preparing reports for internal audits, government agencies, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Stay updated on labor legislation and HR best practices to continuously improve processes and compliance.
  • Employee Management & Support
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
  • Foster a positive employee experience by resolving issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support employee development initiatives by assisting with training coordination and career development planning.
  • Help facilitate employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and company events.
  • Maintain effective communication between employees and management to promote transparency, trust, and collaboration.
  • HR Systems Management:
  • Maintaining of SAP system with all P&C-related changes according to JTI standards & procedures (Data Quality) together with GBS.
  • Ensure compliance for all P&C JSOX requirements.
  • Maintain data for international assignees.

 

Whom are we looking for – Requirements:

 

  • University Degree in Human Resources or related area
  • Min 5 years in HR practice, international exposure preferable
  • Fluent in Portuguese & English
  • Good Interpersonal Skills: Customer Orientated; Project Management; Good Communication skills; Ability to work independently; SAP; Advanced Excel
