Project Engineer

What this position is about - Purpose: 

On this position, you will be responsible for Projects preparation, coordination, implementation, control and completion of all GSC Capex projects ensuring consistency with JTI strategy, commitments and goals.

What will you do - Responsibilities: 

• Manage preliminary technical and financial data gathering for the investment projects. Gather financial information of the investment projects, evaluate and maintain proper data availability on project progress
• Prepare specs/scope of works where needed for BAP purposes or project developments. Create BAP documents in the intranet system
• Manage investment projects within full communication with the requester department (owner). Ensure that projects are compliant with technical standards and CAPEX management policies and procedures. Control Capex reports and Cash Flow Forecasts in accordance with project engineering
• Adapt and apply Global Engineering, factory and regional initiatives and best practices to improve factories performance by defining the necessary projects
• Plan projects to ensure that health and safety aspects of the project are understood, all hazards identified and risk assessed. Ensure that health and safety control measures are implemented and integrated into the scope of the project
• Ensure that employees or contractors involved in a project received appropriate health & safety training and required qualifications, and are competent to do the work safely. Report incidents and near misses, and report and eliminate identified unsafe conditions and behaviors. Take immediate steps to correct unsafe or unhealthy work conditions or behaviors

Who are we looking for - Requirements: 

• First Degree or Equivalent on Civil Engineering
• 2 years experience of working in the Construction Engineering area
• CAPEX Management experience 
• Project Planing and Management skills, Product knowledge
• good knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office
