Business Partner - Rewards 

 

 

What this position is about - Purpose: 

 

In this position, you will deliver continuous improvement in effectiveness and agility across the organization. This role would be pivotal to the organization and will need to support the delivery of the business and people strategy.
Also, this position will provide effective, competitive and cost-efficient employee remuneration in line with Company's business objectives. Main responsibilities include: Organization Design, Employees Rewards Planning& Forecasting, Remuneration surveys & Analysis, Job Evaluation, Rewards Benefit structure & maintenance, Payroll Management, and Annual Salary review/bonus payout administration. Rewards modernisation/communication.

 

 

What will you do - Responsibilities: 

 

Rewards & Organization Design:

Ensure long-term rewards initiatives (policies, procedures and projects) are developed, approved and implemented in line with JTI guidelines. Also, ensure that company employees are aware of general rewards policies and procedures. Review pay structure yearly. Ensure implementation of all Rewards & Benefits while maintaining cost efficiency plus customer centricity. Ensure OD is fit for the future.

 

OD & Projects:

Lead and support organizational development and design projects that improve people processes, structures, measures, and accountabilities with the ultimate goal to optimize the deployment of internal resources to achieve superior business results. Driving any regional or corporate projects in Sudan. Driving any wellness or well-being projects. Driving Annual Salary Review and Bonus Payout processes annually, plus any other salary adjustment cycles.

 

Payroll & Budgeting:

Monitor and support the GBS team and/or the payroll outsourcing provider, to deliver the right figures and transfer salaries on time, as well as other payments related to employees and the government. Quarterly Accruals as required for the bonus, vacation, postservice benefits etc. Liaise with Finance on any payroll reporting for Market/GSC. Support P&C Director for all People costs budgeting and cycles with finance  (ASP, LE's OPEX exercises etc.) with timely accurate submissions.

 

Job Evaluation:

Maintain the consistency and integrity of the Job Roles within the business through effective systems and processes for Job Analysis, Job Descriptions & Evaluation, Organizational Structural Design and organisational change. Write job descriptions, or revisit existing job descriptions, to reflect standardised language for cross-cutting job skill and complexity levels.

 

 

Who are we looking for - Requirements: 

 

  • Degree in Human Resources/Finance/Accounting or Social Science from a recognized institution
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in an Organization Design and total rewards, multinational company
  • Experience in Sudan required. Experience working in Finance required
  • Good written and spoken English and Arabic
  • P&C Service delivery
  • Talent Management, Performance Management, Project & Program Management experience
  • Total Rewards; Data analysis 
  • Organization Design, Financial acumen, Strategic thinking
  • Strong MS office skills, SAP HR, and influencing skills
