What is this role about?

 

Accountable to generate strategic and business insight and analysis utilizing internal, market, industry, competitors and consumers data in order to support business strategic planning and decision making.

 

What will you do?

 

Market Insight & Decision Support

  • Oversees survey to find out market performance and maintain retailer panels to generate area-specific, field-based market insights
  • Aggregate various data sources using GIS and identify high potential areas to support the investment targeting
  • Optimizing analysis, insights, and strategic recommendations to support business planning process, ensuring that there is a thorough understanding of the field area, distribution channels, customers, and competitors by utilising and integrating all available sources
  • Provide assistance on problem solving, analysis on potential financial and/or market outcomes, validating assumptions provided by the organization, and/or acquired/derived from industry and other information

Consumer Insight

  • Identify, implement and drive key research opportunities, brand tracking, creative concepts/testing, consumer attitude and segmentation studies, current & prospective customer research and competitive analysis
  • Developing ideas, understand industry trend & demand and consumer needs, business competition, challenges to drive new product innovation, grab business opportunities, achieve customer expectation and future product sustainability

Insight Analysis and Reporting

  • Optimizing analysis, insights, and strategic recommendations to support business planning process, ensuring that there is a thorough understanding of the field area, distribution channels, customers, and competitors by utilising and integrating all available sources
  • Work with Lead Insight team to provide recommendations of market insight and analysis through regular reporting in order to support the decision making made by leadership team.

Agile Player

  • Act as an implementor for agile culture
  • Involve in agile projects and resource planning within timeline and budgets, work closely and engage with teams to establish an environment that is motivating, entrepreneurial in nature and instill a sense of empowerment among the teams

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Economics or Maths
  • 2+ years relevant experience in data analytics, market insights, relevant experience in FMCG or tobacco industries
  • Fluent in English (both speaking and writing)
