WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE

This position will report directly to Sales Director and will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of JTI coverage & route management strategy, territory & trade segmentation, coverage performance monitoring, maintenance of universe database and field force head count management to ensure achievement of shared objectives.

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coverage & Route Management:
    • Responsible to lead the implementation of JTI Distribution strategy for DSO and DSD operation, including coverage strategy, route management and channel strategy.
    • Design, propose and implement relevant RTC tools and system to ensure effective and efficient coverage & route management model.
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Distribution Performance:
    • ​​​​​​​Monitor coverage productivity and provide direction & guidelines to reach optimal coverage expansion.
    • Design & monitor initiatives to improve weighted distribution of JTI SKU.
  • Universe Database Maintenance:
    • ​​​​​​​Review translated nielsen data in accordance with NDO (National District Overview) format.
    • Lead the annual implementation & provide guidance for Market & Trade survey to obtain updated information & exposure on the latest trade landscape.
  • Territory and Trade Segmentation:
    • ​​​​​​​Design JTI customer classification & segmentation based on portfolio objective.
    • Design territory (square) investment model in collaboration with Trade & Field Marketing.
  • Field Force Head Count Management:
    • ​​​​​​​Plan the appropriate number of field force head count in line with coverage strategy to ensure efficient & effective headcount distribution.
  • People Management:
    • ​​​​​​​Sets, monitor & review individual & team development plans.
    • Provide people development interventions (e.g., coaching, mentoring, counseling) to build team capability & motivation.
    • Ensure team members' compliance to company's regulations and agreed business process

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in route to market, coverage and territory field in multinational FMCG.

  • Solid understanding of coverage & channel management, project management, and commercial acumen.

  • Proven leadership skills with experience in people management & collaboration with multi-functional team. Ability to influence internal & external stakeholders.

  • Strong strategic, analytical, and presentation skills. Ability to formulate strategy and develop into an action plan with clear objectives and measures.
