Quality Engineer Associate
 

This position is responsible for coordinating all quality activities on the assigned production lines to achieve established quality targets, including KPIs and other internal objectives. Additionally, it includes leading continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes, efficiency, and overall product quality within these production lines.

 

The position will be reporting to Quality Control & Improvement Manager.

The Quality Engineer Associate will:
 

  • Track and enhance the quality performance of assigned production cells/lines by monitoring quality alerts, participating in DDS meetings, and utilizing all necessary IWS tools
  • Ensure effective implementation, adherence, and documentation of CAPAs in compliance with JTI QMS. Promptly investigate non-conformities and deviations to drive continuous improvement
  • Analyze consumer complaints using quality data, develop preventive actions, and monitor their effectiveness
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses for QUIPs, identifying improvement opportunities and recommending actionable solutions
  • Provide timely quality support for any product-related issues, conducting quality risk assessments and delivering an effective action plan/solution to swiftly mitigate impacts on Quality and Production KPIs        
  • Prepare and deliver Quality awareness and refreshment training to the shop floor as needed
     

Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in related areas
  • Proficient in advanced English, with exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced level of MS Office applications knowledge
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong problem-solving capability
  • A team-oriented individual with a strong customer focus and the ability to learn quickly
  • Passionate about working with large datasets and extracting valuable insights
  • IWS Q Pillar knowledge would be an asset
  • Practical knowledge of PLM, SAP, and Power BI would be an advantage
