Legal Associate
 

The main purpose of the role is to support the Legal Department on a temporary based between March and October 2025. As a Legal Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Legal Director and Legal Managers.
 

The position will be based in Izmir/Torbalı and will be reporting to the Legal Director, Turkiye.
 

Position:
 

The Legal Associate will be responsible for:
 

  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough research to gather legal materials and analyze the impact of new legislation on JTI Turkey's business operations
  • Document Preparation: Assist in drafting official letters, contracts, written documents, and presentations
  • Filing System Management: Maintain and update an organized filing system for the Legal Department
     

Requirements:
 

  • A bachelor’s degree in law
  • Strong legal research skills and familiarity with legal databases
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to draft and review legal documents, such as contracts and official letters
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold legal ethics
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
