Brand Activation Manager

 

 

Position purpose:

 

You will be responsible for assisting Marketing Activation function via realization of brand strategies. Bring & develop creative ideas in defined channels in a highly regulated and challenging competitive environment.

 

This position will be based in Istanbul and will be reporting to Activation Manager within Marketing Department.

 

 

What will you do - Responsibilities:

                                                                                                           

  • Brand Programs

Manage programs in defining & building brand activation plans and strategies in line with the brand objectives

Work in close collaboration with respective members of M&S, Sales, PPO and Legal Groups in order to ensure alignment with the market and integrated activities. Be accountable in the requests & communications lead by by Brand Groups within HQ and Region. Ensure that brand guidelines and marketing excellence guidelines are implemented while developing programs

Analyze and interpret available data (Nielsen, Tracker & research findings) to identify the needs for each brand and develop programs supporting the improvement areas

Provide all the necessary input to the A&SP, BG / Regional / COS requests and ad hoc reports

                                                                                                                                   

  • Special Channels

Work closely with Special Channels function to drive, plan and execute the brand programs in special channels

Prepare and advice briefs for 3rd parties agencies to find new ideas / programs / materials to be used in special channels. Advice new trends & similar activities in order to differentiate brand programs for related brands to build equity

Conduct special channel visits to ensure the execution excellence for these activations

 

  • Trade Channel

Work closely with sales team to initiate and to develop new programs in trade channel in line with the marketing brand objectives and cycle plans of the field team. Conduct regular trade channel visits across Turkey

                                                                                                                                               

  • Special Projects

Lead and initiate various activities for related brands and execute them in a timely plan. Prepare briefs to agencies accordingly and assist in creating multiple activities, plans and programs

 

  • Budget & Performance Tracking

Ownership for budget management for all brand activities while ensuring the effective allocation of the resources that are in line with agreed strategies. Follow up the processes such as PR creation, invoicing etc. Prepare realistic budget planning for PMM's, LE's and ASP periods with allocation of resources for the agreed projects. Closely follow up the budget and ensure actualization of the allocated resources

Generate a ROI study for all activities in all channels and measure the efficiency in related phases. Manage the costs of the projects to be in line with the ROI study

Performance measurement & corrective actions based on defined KPI's         

 

 

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

 

  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
  • Min. 6 yrs of marketing and/or activation experience in FMCG
  • Advanced level of written & spoken English
  • PC literacy (MS Office)
  • Good level of planning & organizing skills, working with people, presenting and communicating information
  • Creating, innovating and producing new ideas, approaches, or insights
