Sales Planning Associate, HK & Macau

 

You will be responsible to generate the annual and monthly volume plan and distribution KPIs. You will perform different analysis regarding market behavior and identify opportunities to enhance JTI brand's penetration in the market. This role requires exceptional communication skills with strong collaboration with other functions which includes marketing, and field sales operations. You will mainly be in-charge of supporting the M&S teams, by planning volume, as well as relevant tools and campaigns to build Sales Capacity Plan, ultimately delivering sales target.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Volume Planning and Demand planning support:
    •  Sales information management: transposing in market sales volume trend, market insights, trade programs and other commercial KPIs into monthly / yearly volume plans.
    • Responsible for Volume forecasts in short term (rolling forecast) and mid-long term (A&SP), and ensure alignment across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Logistics
    • Timely react or predict the Sales Volume fluctuations to support Logistic team to plan accordingly shipments and stocks
    • Monitor business performance and share insights, suggestions or action plan to the field team.
    • Develop and maintain specific and up-to-date Reporting tools for volume analysis and planning. 
  • Monthly Business Reviews/Cycle Planning Process 
    • Develop a full monthly Sales Cycle Plan, by incorporating Business objectives, Trade activities, Activation plan, CM execution plan, Reward modality & Sales KPIs  
    • Cascade & onboard all stakeholders in a specific timely manner and ensure effective execution
    •  Track the performance by campaign / KPI and propose corrective actions if needed
    • Ensure communication with key functions on Cycle Plan execution plan and performance
  •  Assessing the Campaigns / Field Initiatives
    • Support for setting and evaluating the Campaign's objectives and asses the end results against all the KPIs set for the trade, EAS and FSF.
    • Evaluate and share data insights to the M&S team regarding the campaigns in a regular manner. 
    • Assessing the right resource utilization and management of every campaign and finding the short comings to improve futher in the upcoming campaigns.
    • Collect market intelligence to better understand the Campaign impact on the consumer, and further build it in the future plans where relevant  
  • Budget Management and ROI
    • Support his manager and other M&S functions in setting and tracking the annual budgets
    • Set up tools and actions to facilitate the right objectives setting for M&S initiatives or programs to be able to ensure positive ROI 
  • SalesForce Performance management & evaluation
    • Together with TMM and DMA is responsible for providing required data and tools to ensure accurate Sales Force objectives setting and performance management
    • Provide initial forecast for Sales teams (by channel, by route, by SR, etc.), in order to align  and set the monthly KPIs and targets.

 

Requirements:

  • 2 to 4 years experience in FMCG Marketing & Sales. (Tobacco experience is preferred). Experience of managing sales and distribution team. 
  • Fluent in Cantonese and English, written and spoken;
  • Good communicator and negotiator who can interact and build working relationship with different levels of the organization to facilitate discussion towards resolution.
  • JTI business understanding & tobacco operations knowledge
  • High capabilities in forecasting calculation, developing statistics models in Excel, BI or any other MS tools.
  • Strong knowledge in sales planning Process
  • Hands-on experience with statistical modeling, forecasting, trend analysis, and simulation tools
  • Process-oriented, strong time management skills, and results-oriented
  • Process and result oriented mindset.
  • Project Management skills
