What is this position about? 

You shall work closely with the SI Manager to acquire market intelligence and consumer insights to formulate business plans. You will perform forecast with internal tools and closely coordinate with research agencies in order to ensure reporting accurate and useful information on consumer trends and behavior. Results should be communicated with stakeholders timely and effectively for formulating future plans.

 

What will you do?

  • Generate quantitive and qualitative market research reports in order to provide information on consumer needs/ profiles/ behaviors, market dynamics, channel and trade characteristics as well as JTI brands equity.  Coordinate with external agencies to collect and consolidate required info.

  • Work on market studies on product, pricing and packaging practices, while coordinating with the M&S team on required information.  Develope actionable insights and conduct presentations to internal stakeholders.

  • Assist in volume forecast modelling and perform predictive analysis to support strategic plans and commercial reviews.

  • To monitor retail audit data and provide regular updates to management and global team. Customize and maintain different kinds of reports to fulfill routine business needs.

  • Handle ad-hoc strategic insights tasks with the right methodologies, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and with JTI standards at all times. Handle other administrative tasks as assigned.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • 3-4 years of relevant SI experience in the FMCG industry, in a multinational enviornment, on research and retail data

  • University degree in Business Administration/ Marketing or equivalent

  • Fluent in English & Mandarin, Cantonese is a plus

  • Computer Literate, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerBI is a plus
