RTM Specialist is responsible for implementation of trade survey including conduct data review & validation and customer segmentation, implementation of quality coverage and route management, and channel strategy. He/she will be accountable to ensure operation team understanding of doing the survey, coverage & teritory principles, productivity measurement, RTM system and tools through training.  




Coverage & Route Management

  • Support the implementation of  coverage planning, channel strategy, and route management 
  • Provide training to ensure operation team's understanding on coverage  guideline, utilization of relevant RTM system & tools (QGIS, ROUTE, MyMaps) and coverage principle (sequencing and square model) to support route & coverage implementation 
  • Update & maintain relevant documents related to coverage & route (e.g., Nielsen Universe & Mkt updates)
  • Review and validate new route proposed by OM before being proposed to the RTM Manager


Distribution Performance

  • Manage, update and cascade the guidelines for coverage expansion 
  • Implement and monitor relevant initiatives in improving weighted distribution
  • Monitor and analyze coverage productivity


Universe Database Maintenance

  • Obtain, adjust and analyze Nielsen Data to District Overview format
  • Support the implementation of the annual Market & Trade survey to obtain updated information & exposure on the latest trade landscape


Territory and Trade Segmentation

  • Update the customer classification & segmentation data to fit brand portfolio objective, ensure it is cascaded and understood by operation team
  • Update the territory (square) investment model by working with Field Marketing Team


Field Force Head Count Management

  • Support the regional field team in resource monitoring and planning in line with coverage strategy




  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in any major
  • Minimum 4 years working in route to consumer, coverage and territory field in multinational FMCG
