Position purpose:


The Business Ethics Manager will ensure consistency and sustainability in JTI's approach to Business Ethics by supporting case management work, Code of Conduct update and revisions, Your Voice (JTI’s internal concerns reporting mechanism) tool management and various global initiatives. The job holder will be instrumental in identifying risks impacting Your Voice, creating organization-wide awareness of the Your Voice and the Code of Conduct, as well as in monitoring and addressing any gaps through follow-up and corrective actions. The incumbent will also be responsible for overseeing the management of the Contact Person community and play a key role in the technical maintenance and upgrade of Business Ethics's global applications -Your Voice tool and the Code of Conduct.



What will you do - Responsibilities:


  • Your Voice (JTI’s internal concerns reporting mechanism): Register cases, carry out fact validation, follow-up on HQ cases reported by employees, participate in related investigations and administer cases in the YV portal, including cleaning of cases. Prepare Your Voice management and statistical reports for different stakeholders and suggest measures to help improve the Company's environment from a Business Ethics perspective. Administer the Your Voice portal and lead projects to enhance it further, including assessment of functionalities and capabilities. 


  • Code of Conduct: Under the Business Ethics Director's lead, coordinate the review and update of the Code of Conduct as needed. This includes technical support for the online application, training of translators to update the contents in different languages, gap analysis of JTI’s Code with other leading industries, liaising with all JTI functions for the renewal of the Code, preparing a draft updated version, supporting the development of communication materials and the distribution of the Code across JTI.


  • Contact Persons: Oversee the management of the Contact Persons community across JTI. Revise related online and face-to-face training materials regularly and deliver trainings and presentations. Manage and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Contact Person's initiative.


  • Communication and training: Work closely with the Training and the Communication colleagues to ensure the development of communication and training material related to Business Ethics and Your Voice processes and initiatives. Participate in delivering training as requested.


  • Provide support for various projects: Support various compliance initiatives, as directed by the Business Ethics Director. 



Who are we looking for:


  • University graduate in Law.
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in Business Ethics/Compliance/Legal.
  • Effective communication skills plus a high level of integrity.                                             
  • Fluent in English (verbal & written). Other languages are a plus. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and general database management skills.
