Activation Lead
Position Purpose:
The role supports the FMZ Manager and Territory Consumer Lead in developing the HRC, Leisure, and DSA strategy for the assigned zone and territories.
Drive awareness, trial, repurchases, and dedication in HRC, Leisure & DSA channels through the development and management of consumer activations and campaigns. This includes creating action plans for DTC initiatives, managing the campaign process, and evaluating its success.
The job requires working in the evenings and on Saturdays (Tuesday to Saturday workdays) or during important holidays if needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Activation Strategy (HRC, Leisure & DSA)
Assist the Field Marketing Zone (FMZ) Manager and Territory Consumer Lead in developing a strategic plan for JTIP brands within the assigned zones and territories. This involves:
- Insight Development: Analyze various sources of information in your zone and territories. This includes studying data trends, examining competitors, and conducting field research. Your goal is to identify key challenges and opportunities.
- Action Planning: Implement these insights to develop both short-term and long-term action plans for JTI brands. Highlight on crafting DTC campaigns that will boost brand awareness, foster trial, drive repeat purchase, and nurture customer dedication.
DTC Campaign Development (HRC, Leisure & DSA)
Collaborate with colleagues from Brand and Field Marketing Teams to develop strong DTC campaigns that drive growth in brand awareness, trial, repertoire, BUMO, and exclusivity of JTI brands.
End-to-End Program Management (HRC, Leisure & DSA)
This involves responsibility for the following:
- Collaborate with FMZ team colleagues to manage deployment and implementation of activations in the assigned zone and territories specific to 121.
- Resource Management: Responsible for managing assigned budget and accurate deployment of activation tools and materials. Establish strict management, control, and compliance.
- Third Party Activation Agencies: Provide clear, strategic, actionable, value-adding feedback and directions/training to assist agencies in developing brand activation ideas/proposals. Encourage partner agencies to deliver outstanding results through strategic discussions.
- Account Management: Lead the day-to-day relationship building and maintenance with key outlet owners and managers to ensure excellence in plan delivery.
Campaign Monitoring & Tracking (HRC, Leisure & DSA)
Undertake ongoing monitoring of all campaigns under their remit, including efficiency and performance to feed this data into periodic strategic channel reviews.
Other (if applicable)
Perform other necessary ad hoc tasks that may arise as part of brand/competitive dynamics in the assigned territory.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree graduate, preferably in Marketing/Business/Communications or Psychology/Behavioral Sciences related courses.
- 2+ years experience in Marketing, Trade/Channel Marketing, Consumer Engagement, Brand Activation, ideally with experience in the HRC/Leisure channel or with brands in this channel (e.g., alcohol brands).
- Good communication skills - Oral and Written (English, Filipino), or local dialects is a plus.
