Job Title: Product Cost Manager

Product Cost Manager 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the planned cost of finished products in part related to tobacco / non-tobacco materials. Supports data entry into NTM costing tool, Leaf Costing Tool, FCPI and SKU DM systems; controls the correctness and timeliness of entering the planned cost data into the cards of tobacco, non-tobacco materials, semi-finished products and finished products in the SAP system. Checks the correctness of BOM in SAP related to finished products, semi-finished products, and CFS

  • Monitors and controls the actual cost of production in terms of tobacco, non-tobacco materials, finished products and semi-finished products, prepares a comparative analysis of the actual cost vs. planned cost on a monthly basis. Provides explanations to JSOX for the control of deviations and corrections of data in the SAP system to the finance department of the headquarters in Geneva as needed

  • Ensure timely posting of month-end closing transactions in the SAP system related to the cost of production in IFRS/STAT/TAX modules; control the correctness of the data for recording provisions for damaged/obsolete materials. Check all transfer prices related to tobacco and non-tobacco materials

  • Prepare data for ASP/LE/OL and analyze variances in Free Cash Flow (FCF) report related to Leaf and NTM movements. Carries out the planning of tobacco and non-tobacco materials on the stock in monetary terms. Analyzes the variances of the balances against the actual/LE/ASP plan and reconciles the general ledger account data with the inventory module (KAR report).

  • Prepares the estimated value of VMC for Market projects/ BAP preparation and uploads the data to the PLM system indicating the reasons for deviations against the status quo/ASP;

  • Provide support on the financial process to the Moet Project at the Contract Manufacturing site at ITG including Month End closing (Technical closing of the month and financial system upload), planning including ASP/LE/OL (Leaf, NTM costs upload to financial system and standard cost creation) and special request support.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Not less than 3 years in an FMCG company in Finance function

  • Proficient in MS Office, SAP, Excel, and process design.

  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering flawless results

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
