Responsibilities and Requirements

• Accounting:  Accountable for the financials of JTI Leaf Services (US) LLC ensuring all ledgers (IFRS, STAT, TAX) are accurate. Lead month-end closing.  Analyze accounting bookings including error detection and corrections. 
• Reporting and Controls:  Review monthly Key Account Reconciliations.  Manage internal controls and governance (ie. control walkthroughs, Anti-money laundering, Segregation of duties, BAP/Memo's).  Project manager for internal audits, responding to requests from internal auditors, and implementation of recommended audit findings if necessary. Review and create policies and procedures and ensure they are communicated and followed.
• Systems maintenance and analysis:  Coordinate sales pricing for orders in SAP.  Coordinate sku maintenance, product costing and PO conditions in SAP.  Power user for R2R module of SAP (ie. testing, change requests, etc)
• Treasury:  Track cash requirements related to the project and communicate to the Group Treasury if needed. 
• Risk management: Contribute to the consolidation of insurance packages. Contribute to the discovery of risks and development of mitigating measures in all areas.  

Minimum Qualifications   

• 4 year BA/BS Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business.                                              
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in multi-national consumer goods organization.  
• Well organized Accountant                                   
• Good working knowledge of Excel
• SAP experience    
• Internal controls experience highly preferred
