Customs & Excise Coordinator (m/f/d)

Are you a motivated, team-oriented, and proactive individual? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Swiss entity as a Customs & Excise Coordinator (m/f/d) on a permanent basis, in a part-time position (80-100%).

Position:

As the Customs & Excise Coordinator (m/f/d) you will:

• Prepare import and export customs clearance for finished products and raw materials (in-house customs clearance).
• Maintain daily contact with customs authorities, forwarding agents, and customs agents.
• Manage Inward Processing Relief by obtaining and renewing permits and ensuring timely settlements.
• Control customs receipts and provide accounting instructions for customs amounts incurred.
• Create and monitor Purchasing Orders for JTI SA to ensure smooth factory operations.

Requirements:

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Experience in import and export customs clearance.
• Fluency in German (essential for communication with customs authorities).
• Very good command of English.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially advanced Excel skills) and SAP.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Further education in the field of import/export.
• Experience with declaration tools (e.g., SISA).
• Experience in SOX controls.
• French language skills.
