You are responsible for the day-to-day support and engagement with strategic key accounts and wholesale customers within assigned territory to ensure JTI’s competitiveness within channels. Collaborate closely with Regional Sales and Field Marketing teams to identify areas of opportunities, plan and deploy relevant activities to drive performance of assigned customers, and ensure excellence in execution of national key accounts initiatives.



Channel Development

  • Responsible in the day-to-day engagement and support of strategic retail accounts (or LKA) and modern Wholesalers assigned to the incumbent
  • Regular performance assessment of strategic retail accounts and wholesale customers assigned to the incumbent, and provide recommendations and business proposals to drive performance of assigned customers
  • Support the Modern Trade Development Manager in identifying growth opportunities, and develop and implement initiatives to drive business growth within assigned customers

Customer Management & Negotiation

  • Day-to-day engagement with strategic retail accounts and modern Wholesalers in assigned territory
  • Support the Modern Trade Development Manager on trading terms negotiation with strategic retail accounts and modern Wholesalers in assigned territory to achieve set objectives
  • Lead other negotiations (listing, secure tactical visibility and availability) with strategic retail accounts and modern Wholesalers assigned to the incumbent

Operational Support

  • Responsible for providing operational support for national KA's regional hubs (e.g. distribution centers, regional operations team) within assigned territory by collaborating closely with Key Account Managers and Regional Sales team
  • Responsible in monitoring and ensuring that 3rd party merchandizer coverage in assigned territory is executed as planned
  • Implementation of national KA initiatives (distribution, programs and activations) within assigned territory in a timely manner

People management (if applicable)

  • Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent.

  • Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.



  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in sales, channel management, business development and/or field trade marketing.
  • Proven record in commercial, sales and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Tagalog
