Reporting to: RRP Category Development Manager

 

 

What this position is about:

 

The incumbent will be responsible in promoting and selling JTI RRP products, aligning with RRP Category strategies while building and maintaining relationships with unconventional and leisure accounts.

He/she must educate covered channels on RRP brands, product features and benefits, increase consumer awareness through activations and trials and expand distribution within the coverage area.  

Collaboration with RRP Team is essential for managing trade relationships and achieving KPIs. Close collaboration with the Field Marketing Team is necessary for campaign execution and acquiring more consumers.

Key reponsibilities include building RRP distribution to assigned channels, educating stores on brands & products, ensuring price standards, promoting trade and consumer campaigns and maintaining shelf display and merchandising quality execution.

 

 

What will you do:

 

RRP CATEGORY EQUITY BUILDING
•  Ensure comprehensive brand & product education for covered channels
•  Achieve RRP Distribution Objective
•  Achieve coverage, calls per day, strike rate targets.
•  Achieve consumer acquisition objectives through consumer activations and other campaigns on the assigned area
•  Work with RRP Category Development Manager to develop routing plans and other KPI objectives
•  Adherence to Steps of the Call and Daily Activity Guide
•  Develop relevant and potential new customers
•  Conducts proper decorum

 

'CHANNEL & AREA DEVELOPMENT
- Devolopment of unconventional and leisure channel thru proper account management with the area of coverage
- Coverage area execution with pre-set minimum number of account visits per day that includes identified frequency of visits
- Negotiation and management of possible contracts 
- Execute possible consumer / trade campaigns within the area of coverage
- Build distribution network to achieve distribution in covered and possible expansion in non-covered universe

 

'ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT, NEGOTIATION AND AR
•  Build a strong customer relationships.
•  Manage cash collection and credit to covered stores
•  Manage trade stock levels to avoid OOS & FEFO
•  Negotiate & manage initiatives / contracts & check compliance 
•  Manage BO/trade returns through FEFO and stock rotation
•  Ensure all company funds and assets are accounted for 

 

'VISIBILITY MERCHANDISING SUPPORT AND PRICE COMPLIANCE
•  Achieve product display and merchandising standards at trade level
•  Timely and proper execution of trade programs.
•  Ensure compliance to JTI RRP products pricing standards

 

TOOLS AND REPORTING
•  Comply with JTI sales and information system.
•  Compliance to reporting standards.
•  Ensure proper management, monitoring and maintenance of assigned company assets.
•  Basic navigation and understanding of Eye Found It (EFI) and other enablers
•  Provide timely feedbacks from trade.
•  Regular monitoring of deliveries

 

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SUPPORT
• Provide support  in terms of Stocks Management (Good and Bad Stocks) to ensure 100% accuracy of inventory count both received and issued stocks
• Provide guidance in maintaining adequate inventory of stocks
• Provide support to account all promotional items and POSM received and issued

 

Who are we looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-3 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, and Customer Development with a proven track record in commercial, sales, and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken Tagalog and English

  • Insightful and analytical with the ability to execute effective trade and consumer programs
  • Proficient in Account/Channel Management, route planning, and preparation
