Assistant Warehouse In-Charge

The Assistant Warehouse-in-Charge supports the Branch Warehouse-in-Charge in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch warehouse. This role is responsible for assisting in the implementation of company policies and controls to ensure inventory accuracy and maintain product quality. The position also holds accountability for effective record management, including proper filing and archiving of warehouse documents.

As the Assistant Warehouse-In-Charge, you will be in charge of:

• Inventory Record Accuracy
  Ensure 100% inventory record accuracy through accurate and timely recording of all transactions in both SAP and the warehouse subsystem. Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in van inventory and route settlement activities.

• Product Quality Sustainability
  Monitor key quality indicators including Beetle Count Index (BCI), Safety Risk Index, temperature, relative humidity, and First-Expiry First-Out (FEFO) compliance to uphold product quality standards.

• Asset Management
  Support the Branch Warehouse-in-Charge in complying with asset maintenance protocols to extend asset usability. Monitor and report the condition of damaged assets and recommend them for proper disposal when necessary.

• Record Management
  Ensure all documents and records are filed, stored, and archived in accordance with company policies and standards for easy retrieval and audit compliance.

• Other Responsibilities
  Take on various projects and tasks as assigned by the line manager, demonstrating flexibility and initiative in warehouse operations support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Finance, or any related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within a sales and distribution environment in the FMCG industry.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Knowledge of SAP or other warehouse management systems is an advantage.
