Regional Sales Manager Alexandria & Delta

 

What this position is about – Purpose: 

 

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving volume growth and Share of Market (SoM) within your assigned area by developing and executing effective strategies, including both Push and Pull programs. You will lead and support the field force, ensuring distribution efficiency and maximizing offtake potential while fostering a one-team mentality. Your role will also involve monitoring market performance, tracking competitor activities, and ensuring alignment with company objectives through detailed reports and operational planning. Additionally, you will focus on team development, succession planning, and implementing consumer segmentation strategies to achieve continuous brand growth and awareness.

 

 

What will you do - Responsibilities: 

 

  • Actively contribute to the company’s Cycle Plans (SPC- Sales Planning Cycle, A&SP- Annual and Strategic Planning).
  • Take full ownership and accountability for achieving set objectives related to volume growth and Share of Market (SoM) within the assigned area.
  • Drive the commercialization of the field force by planning and executing both Pull and Push programs, maximizing distribution efficiency and offtake potential.
  • Ensure continuous positive growth in SoM performance.
  • Demonstrate advanced analytical skills in data comprehension, development, and communication.
  • Identify key opportunities and challenges, while creating an effective operational plan that aligns with company goals, driving the team toward a positive performance trajectory and optimal budget utilization.
  • Actively participate in the monthly planning process, providing constructive input on field force KPIs, internal competitions, and trade programs, with the goal of meeting company targets and fostering a one-team mentality.
  • Track and monitor monthly Credit Notes (CRNs) issued to trade partners, ensuring they align with volume performance and visibility status. Maintain an organized record of issued CRNs with proof of receipt.
  • Produce monthly reports and conduct market visit verifications to ensure customer performance and growth, while maintaining accurate records of Permanent Point of Sale Materials (PPOSMs) placements.
  • Monitor and track competitor activities and market updates, including RRSP (Retailer Recommended Selling Price) compliance, brand launches, trade programs, and activations.
  • Foster ongoing people development through on-the-job training, one-on-one coaching, team meetings, monthly reviews, and regular feedback.
  • Ensure development of future leaders for new roles and succession planning.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of Consumer Segmentation to ensure accurate implementation across different customer segments, channels, and areas.
  • Drive brand awareness and SoM growth by ensuring efficient brand reach and positive trends.

 

Who are we looking for - Requirements: 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (University level).
  • 7+ years of sales team management experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong competencies in problem-solving, team collaboration, leading by example, project management, strategic planning, and hands-on execution.
  • Native Arabic speaker.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Leadership capabilities with solid people management skills (task management, time management, etc.).
  • Advanced understanding of financial and commercial concepts.
  • Advanced data analysis skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
