Branch Warehouse In-Charge (Lipa, Batangas)

The Branch Warehouse In-Charge oversees the end-to-end operations of the branch warehouse. This role ensures accurate inventory management, product quality compliance, proper asset handling, and adherence to company standards, controls, and policies. The Warehouse In-Charge also plays a key role in sustaining product quality, reporting quality issues, and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment as both the Safety Officer (SO) and Pollution Control Officer (PCO)

 

As a Branch Warehouse In-Charge, you will: 

  • Branch Operations Lead
    • Oversee the overall branch warehouse operations and ensure that company standards, controls, and Good Warehousing Practices are consistently implemented and followed.
  • Inventory Record Accuracy
    • Ensure 100% inventory record accuracy through seamless recording and monitoring of all transactions in both SAP and the subsystem.
    • Perform cycle counts and participate in van inventory route settlement.
  • Product Quality Sustainability
    • Enforce the First-to-Expire, First-Out (FEFO) policy.
    • Report slow moving SKU that requires rotation or sales program support, to avoid expiration.
    • Ensure compliance with Quality Management Programs, including Beetle Count Index, temperature and relative humidity monitoring, and quarterly general pest control activities.
  • Asset Management
    • Ensure proper asset maintenance to prolong usability and operational efficiency.
    • Report damaged assets and recommend repair or disposal as required.
  • Environment, Health and Safety Management

    • As the branch’s Safety Officer (SO) and Pollution Control Officer (PCO):
      • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS).
      • Conduct branch‑level risk assessments, regular safety inspections and audits, and manage emergency preparedness activities.
      • Facilitate safety training for employees and enforce safety programs that prevent accidents, injuries, and workplace hazards.
      • Participate in incident investigations and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
    • Environmental Compliance
      • Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations, including PD 1586, RA 6969, RA 8749, RA 9003, and RA 9275.
      • Perform PCO responsibilities in accordance with DENR AO 2014‑02, including applying for and renewing environmental permits, maintaining environmental records, submitting required reports, and monitoring activities that may impact the environment.

     

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehousing within an FMCG sales and distribution environment.
  • Safety Officer (SO) and Pollution Control Officer (PCO) certification required.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and logical problem‑solving skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel
  • Experience with SAP or other warehouse systems is an advantage.
