Product Cost Analyst

What this position is about – purpose:

The Product Cost Analyst is responsible for overseeing and accurately calculating production costs, maintaining databases for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products, and performing monthly financial close processes. This role includes preparing monthly financial reports, handling transfer pricing, providing backup for other finance roles, and assisting in the partial accounting of raw material invoices.

What will you do - Key responsibilities:

• Oversee and control stock movements, from raw materials to finished products, ensuring accurate inventory valuations.
• Drive cost efficiency by calculating and updating production material data in SAP, supporting strategic pricing decisions.
• Prepare and submit essential reports to regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
• Lead transfer pricing for intercompany products, collaborating on cross-functional financial insights.
• Serve as a proactive support, closing POs efficiently and providing backup for related roles to maintain seamless operations.

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year in accounting or a similar financial role.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Fluent English and Romanian, both verbal and written.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
