Consumer Strategic Insights Manager RoMoBu

 

 

What this position is about:  

 

In this role you will lead marketing research projects while closely cooperating with research agencies. You will support the team with valuable insights on all Tobacco categories and will ensure timely delivery of quality data sets as well as other crucial information for any of the markets in the Cluster (Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova).  

  

What you will do - Responsibilities: 

 

  • Apply market research data to derive strategic insights on Tobacco categories.
  • Lead consumer research projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with research providers to apply their expertise and resources efficiently.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats in the market, based on available quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the execution of e-portfolio, brand, trade, and distribution strategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and the competitive market landscape.

 

Who we are looking for - Requirements: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of research experience in an FMCG company or marketing research agency.
  • Proven track record in handling marketing research projects on all levels, including briefing, fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Solid background in qualitative and quantitative consumer research (pricing studies, social media listening, consumer experience research; retail audit is a plus).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI (knowledge of SPSS or other data analysis software represents an advantage).
  • English language fluency, along with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in leading multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Deriving actionable conclusions from consumer, shopper and trade data.
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated in processing large quantities of information, including analysis and systematization.
  • A responsible and broad-minded person with a focus on growth, proactive approach and "can do" attitude.
  • Excellent teammate with an agile approach, fostering collaboration and partnership among colleagues.
