IT Expert for Global Compliance Department
What this role is about?
This is a global position within IT BTS Legal, Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Sustainability, Global IT function. The IT Expert for the Global Compliance Department is in charge of global systems supporting the Compliance departments of the company. You will be primarily accountable for new implementations and new projects/change requests in the coming years. In addition, you will be involved in level 3 support activities. The IT Expert is in charge of the digital roadmap execution with your business stakeholder, including budgetary and people resource aspects.
It is an exciting time to join the team as the JTI Compliance function is heading to a digital transformation, including the further automation of compliance checks and further digitally enabled efficiencies.
What will you do?
- Have the overall accountability and ownership for the digital solution functional scope - serve as Level 3 application support requests escalated from the previous support level (GSD) of Data Privacy systems with a focus on critical/complex incidents & significant change/service request
- Develop relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities and deliver timely and quality solutions to users while at the same time ensuring they utilize the full potential of the application
- Manage the IT budget related to projects and support within scope
- Manage external IT resources
- Assist the function in redesigning or adapting business processes to a change request
- Design specification, testing and implementing business process changes
- Maintain up to date appropriate documentation in his/her scope of responsibility this includes BPMLs, Process flows, Enterprise structure and BTS operational procedures
- Take a permanent effort in keeping the End Users up-to-date and knowledgeable of the systems and business processes / best practices
- Provide knowledge transfer and best practices (global processes) to end- users through support/change request resolution
- Scout for technology innovations supporting function, primarily with JTI’s IT strategic partners
What are we looking for?
- University degree in Information Technologies (Computer Science, Software Engineering and Automation, Cybernetics or Applied Mathematics) or Strong Practical and Theoretical IT Background
- English – Fluent (written & spoken)
- 5+ years of experience with corporate-scale systems
- Expertise with SAP-BIS is a BIG PLUS
- Broad knowledge of project management methodologies in relation to custom software development, packaged software implementation; PM experience in projects of such kind will be considered as an advantage
- Capacity to listen to customer, understand their needs and turn them into concrete solutions.
- The ability to work effectively in a diversified team under pressure situations
