What this role is about?

The AI Strategist plays a key role in the development and implementation of the company's Generative AI (GenAI) strategy. This position is responsible for designing strategic frameworks, operational plans, and managing day-to-day business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. The AI Strategist ensures alignment between business needs, technical capabilities, and innovation goals.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with business leaders and functional teams to identify opportunities where AI, particularly GenAI, can enhance business outcomes, focusing on customer and consumer experience, operational efficiency, and innovation
• Partner with external providers of(Gen)AI and data services to co-develop tailored solutions that address business needs, including customer insights, operational efficiency, and employee engagement
• Lead the evaluation and selection of (Gen)AI technologies and approaches to:
  • Enhance consumer and customer experience through personalization and insights
  • Support business planning and forecasting with predictive models
  • Drive operational efficiencies by automating and optimizing key business processes
  • Improve employee experience by leveraging AI-driven solutions
  • Track and analyze consumer sentiment and opinion to inform strategic decisions
• Ensure key business leaders are educated in new approaches, such as testing hypotheses and statistical validation of results. Helps the organization understand the principles and the math behind the process to drive organizational buy-in
• Provide business metrics for the overall data initiative to show improvements
• Partner with data analysts, strategists, and business stakeholders to explore and propose (Gen)AI-driven initiatives that align with the company's long-term strategy, ensuring practical, business-focused applications of (Gen)AI
• Work with technical teams to identify and assess internal and external data sources that can support the corporate (Gen)AI strategy, without needing to directly manage or analyze the data

What are we looking for?

• University Degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Physics, Operations Research, Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in strategy development and business relationship management, ideally in a technology or data-driven environment across multinational organizations
• Should be passionate about leveraging AI and data-driven technologies to drive business impact, with a focus on strategic implementation rather than technical execution
• Should be a creative thinker capable of proposing innovative approaches to align business objectives with GenAI solutions and broader AI advancements
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, particularly in roles that require collaboration between technical teams (e.g., data scientists) and business stakeholders
• Must be able to present findings and strategic recommendations to business leaders in a way that exposes assumptions, risks, and opportunities in clear, non-technical language for a diverse audience
• Excellent communication skills are required to articulate complex strategies, operational plans, and recommendations in a clear and structured manner
• Proactive mindset in identifying business challenges and opportunities, proposing strategic AI solutions, and working with technical teams to implement these solutions to deliver tangible business value
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to identify and collaborate with key stakeholders across business and technical functions, ensuring alignment and clarity in objectives
• Solid understanding of business processes and organizational dynamics, with a demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges and propose actionable solutions
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills, with a focus on driving strategic initiatives and aligning them with operational outcomes
• Energetic, flexible, and innovative in problem-solving and strategy formulation, with the ability to adapt to changing business environments
• Proven change management skills, with experience leading initiatives that transform business operations through AI and technology-driven solutions
