Government Affairs Manager - Brasilia

 

 

What this position is about - Purpose: 

 

The Government Affairs Manager will support Brasilia´s operation on CA function; act proactively in pursuant of best CA position/opportunities of political engagement; act on behalf of JTI's interests (diplomacy) in Executive and Legislative branches; support on identify key stakeholders and create maps / mailings; produce reports and suport CA routine; identify and produce political analysis; support on strategy definition of the issues.

 

What will you do - Responsibilities: 

 

  • Support CA& daily routine: read political reports from Consultancy and identify points of attention to report internally; prepare the birthday calendar monthly; mailing production when necessary;
  • Map political key stakeholders to advance on CA strategy in Executive and Legislative branches; Operate the profile requests; presentation, letters;
  • Represent JTI / monitoring in person some meetings on Executive|regulatory or Legislative branches and produce reports about it;
  • Political analysis process ; political scenario evaluation to help CA strategy.

 

Who are we looking for - Requirements: 

 

  • University degree in Law, International Relations, Journalism, Public Relations, Political Science;
  • At least 5 years or more in Government Relations, preferably for tobacco/heavily regulated industries;
  • Fluency in English is necessary;
  • Good knowledge of MS office.
