TRADE STRATEGY & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER H/F
What this position is about - Purpose:
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Trade Strategy & Development manager’s role is to define and drive the deployment of trade strategy and activities, in tobacconists, resellers and new channels. The main objective is to develop best-class programs with highest acceptance rate to generate volume while leading a team of 5 reports.
What you will do - Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning:
- Define, prioritize and drive Trade program strategy across all segments
- Provide all the necessary input - in terms of Strategy, Performance and Measurement to the A&SP process, as well as commercial reviews
- Support the strategic framework definition for Trade programs, channels and activation
Program Development:
- Develop best-in-class trade programs with highest acceptance rates driving volume
Program & Performance Management:
- Continuously assess & monitor program performances to further optimize existing programs and tools with focus on business relevance and ROI
Team Management:
- Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly
Budget Management:
- Ensure compliant and effective budget allocation
- Actively manage trade budget
- Monitor investment compliance (both in terms of activity and timing) to the Annual Plan
- Liaise with colleagues of the M&S community to secure effective ROI

- Sales & Trade Strategy experience

- Budget management experience
