Key Account Manager

 

This position is responsible for growing JTI sales, share of market and profit of a portfolio of JTI Key Account customers and optimising investment within these customers by agreeing strategy and budgets, implementing and evaluating annual or longer 'Trading Agreements' to negotiate with specified Key Account customers. 

 

What will you do?

  • Account Management
    • Accountable for managing a group of important accounts to meet business objectives.
    • Define strategic plans of responsible accounts in order to achieve volume target, brand objectives and financials.
    • Establish strong relationships with KAs to build long-term shared purposes and drive growth mutually. 
  •  Planning
    • Collaborate with Brand managers and Field marketing team to support portfolio strategy, new product launch and brand activities.
    • Work closely with Marketing team to develop strategic trade programs to enhance engagement with KAs and increase volume opportunites. 
    • Provide market intelligence and account insights to support commercial review and annual plan process with the region.
    • Work closely with KAs and Strategic Insight team to utilize the acquired data and turn into actionable plans to drive SOM and volume opportunities.
    • Evaluate trade program performance to measure post-event program effectiveness. 
  • Negotiation
    • In charge of trading terms negotiation with responsible KAs aiming to maximize marginal gains and improve profitability. 
    • Initiate strategic negotiation plans to enable negotiating advantage and achieve expected results e.g. listing fee, NPL, facing fee, distribution fee, etc. 
  • Compliance
    • In cooperation with Legal, CA&C, Marketing team to ensure operational planning, trade communication media, POS initiatives for KAs are implemented in accordance and compliance to laws and regulations.
  • Merchandising
    • Lead MT merchandising team to support MT strategy in enhancing engagement with Key Accounts.
    • Ensure MT merchandising team executing efficiently in key selected stores focusing on product education, product availability, planogram and price tag visibility.
       

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent educational background.
  • Minimum 4-7 years experience in Key Account Management and Sales or related functions in FMCG environment.
  • Expertise in Modern Trade key account management, commercial acumen, process and project management, and presentation skill.
  • Proficient in English language, written and verbal communication.
