Consumer and Trade Engagement Manager, Azerbaijan

 What this position is about - Purpose:

The primary goal is to ensure seamless execution of activation programs, focusing on exceptional consumer experiences. By overseeing implementation, the aim is to maximize brand impact and engagement. This involves aligning strategies with market needs and refining tactics to meet evolving consumer expectations. Through strategic collaboration with internal teams and external partners, the position fosters alignment with business objectives to enhance brand perception, drive loyalty, and achieve measurable results.

 

What will you do - Responsibilities:

 

  • Engage closely with the Cluster Consumer and Trade Engagement Manager to craft comprehensive Consumer and Trade Activation Strategies. Ensure strategic alignment with both Cluster and market-specific requirements, driving operational efficiency and maximizing investment effectiveness.
  • Create and regularly revise guidelines that connect Channel to Customer/Consumer, outlining C&TA Mechanics & Tools specific to the market.
  • Foster alignment and effective communication of the developed strategies with all relevant stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
  • Provide relevant support in the most effective and efficient manner, identifying gaps and opportunities compared to market competitors' practices to drive brand success. 
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to achieve Market Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • To lead regular Digital activation projects to activate customers and consumers via B2B and B2C platforms in close collaboration with Digital Consumer Engagement Manager, Cluster.
  • By employing a data-driven approach to performance analysis, the goal is to continuously enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of activation programs, ultimately optimizing budget utilization and driving greater overall impact.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the team members involved in execution activities. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment to maximize team performance and achieve organizational objectives.

 

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Proven experience (min 1 year) in consumer and trade engagement, marketing, or related roles within the FMCG industry;
  • Fluency in Russian and English languages; Azerbaijan language skills are as a plus;
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, consumer behavior, and trade dynamics;
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously;
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement innovative activation strategies;
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a track record of building high-performing teams;
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms to derive actionable insights;
  • Ability to work independently with minimum level of supervision;
  • Flexibility to travel as needed within the market and internationally;
  • Confident PC user - MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
