WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE

You ensure tax stamps are readily available in sourcing factories for 100% production of importation orders while minimizing cost and avoiding incurring demurrage. The area of coverage includes the overall Philippines in terms of market and external customers in terms of service. 

 

The main objective is to have sufficient tax stamps available in order to ensure production continuity whilst complying to the company's and goverment agencies' requirements through proper communication, providing accurate computation/information, submission of reports, assisting in enquiries, co-ordination of shipments, monitoring of new developments, participation in discussions, reporting of damages and claims and etc. 

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and recommend an optimal tax stamps plan by ensuring out of stock situations are minimal and overall tax stamps inventory kept at an optimal level.

  • Ensure timely reporting of bad orders, damaged and spoiled stamps to BIR and request replacement of stamps within the prescribed timeline.

  • Analyze and provide tax stamps report and ensure balance is reconciled between Finance and BIR. Lodge affixture and removal report in IRSIS (BIR system) and ensure proper reconciliation between the affixture report and istocks released from the warehouse. 

  • Coordinate with the Broker on the NTA finished goods inspection. Ensure schedules are aligned with the actual releasing of goods to avoid revocation of Import Permit. 

  • Become the SPOC in answering queries related to import and export transactions. Report any issues encountered with BIR, IRSIS, and customs system and manage proper resolution.

  • To comply on local control requirements in terms of documentation related to import and export. 

  • Ensure import and export files are kept completely and intact for future needs and for post entry audit purposes. 

  • Provide weekly report on the status of shipments and stamps request to concern parties. 

  • To perform any other tasks given by the direct manager. 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess a degree in Business Administration preferably under supply chain management, engineering, finance, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in materials planning/supply planning in an FMCG industry
  • With experience in SAP execution is an advantage
  • With Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Stong analytical skills and resoning abilities
  • Strong knowledge in proper planning for a very dynamic business environment
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
