Reporting to: EHS Director
EHS Engineer
The EHS Engineer supports the implementation and continual improvement of workplace safety, occupational health and environmental management systems. The role helps ensure compliance, prevent incidents and reduce environmental impacts across site activities.
As the EHS Engineer you will:

Identify workplace hazards and environmental risks through inspections, observations, and risk assessments.

Recommend and implement effective safety controls to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

Maintain EHS procedures, permits, records, and compliance requirements.Conduct inspections, audits, incident investigations, and drive corrective actions.

Monitor contractor activities and ensure safe execution of work.

Support occupational health, industrial hygiene, emergency preparedness, and fire prevention programs.

Track environmental performance indicators, including waste, water, energy, emissions, and spills.

Deliver EHS training, inductions, and promote a strong safety culture across the site.

Prepare EHS reports and communicate key findings and recommendations to management.

Provide EHS support for equipment modifications, construction, and capital projects.

Liaise with regulators, contractors, and service providers as needed.

Lead the Change Management process, ensuring risks are assessed, changes are properly implemented, and continuous improvements are sustained.
Who are we looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Atleast 3 years EHS experience in the manufacturing, powerplant, or construction
- Certified Safety Practioner/Consultant, Pollution Control Officer, or BOSH Certified
- Preferably with background in ISO 14001:2015 Environment Management System
- Preferably with background in ISO 45001:28 Occupational Health and Safety Management System
- Knowledgable in Microsoft Applications and Power Apps
