Trade Activation Manager
The role is responsible for trade activation planning, transforming brand and company objectives into trade programs and activities. It includes preparing, communicating, monitoring, reporting, and evaluating trade programs and activities, and assessing performance against set critical metrics.
This role works closely with relevant team members from Marketing & Sales functions to ensure efficient planning, support, and implementation of activities. It also involves monitoring budgets and allocating resources (both financial and non-financial) to respective activities.
Additionally, the role is an in-market repository for takeaways from programs and activities, sharing knowledge across the Marketing & Sales community.
Position:
- Trade Activation Planning: Implement trade activities aligned with the yearly plan to achieve brand and sales goals. Monitor market trends and competition for precise activation. Manage budgets per JTI policies.
- Trade Activation Implementation: Guide and support the Sales team, monitor performance, and address queries. Analyze results to refine future activations and optimize investments.
- Retail Loyalty & Engagement: Oversee the RLP platform to enhance trade engagement. Continuously improve functionalities with third-party support.
- Third-Party Management: Manage external partners, ensuring smooth communication, compliance, and budget oversight.
- Cross-Functional Engagement: Align trade activations with Marketing strategies and collaborate with Merchandising for effective execution. Provide insights on program impact and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration or Economics related
- 4 years experience in Sales/Marketing roles, preferably in FMCG
- Local language, fluency in English
- Excellent use of CRM systems, Analytics tools, MS Office
- Strong organizational skills
- Strategic thinking and ability to transform ideas into action
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong communication & influence without authority
- Financial acumen
