Position purpose:

 

The position of Marketing Activation Manager has been established to coordinate JTI's activation across retail: general trade (KA's, HORECA & other activities). The purpose is to present JTI portfolio brands to increase brand trial & ultimately conversion from their current brand. 

The activation manager needs also a visibility approach to increase and improve JTI portfolio exhibition in POS. The objective is to increase awareness of JTI brands. 

The position demands a strategic approach and an open mind to create from almost scratch a calendar of promotions following the consumer footprint. The role will achieve trial over a 12 month period for the entire JTI Portfolio. 


 

What will you actually do?

 

  • Develop the most adequate priority of promotions by area and maximize market coverage to optimize investment return, ensuring programs related to the trade marketing are ready as per the deadlines agreed with the Sales department to successfully meet the sales objectives. 
  • Establish a close working relationship with third-party agencies to help create the above (item #1). 
  • Manage a consistent brand approach across consumer touchpoints and ensure correct brand segmentation.  
  • Work to establish platform/s to activate JTI brands across Andorra & PAS  (geo focus areas per brand).
  • Assess and evaluate the activations vs set KPI's and targets to determine the program's effectiveness & efficiency.
  • Prepare concise writing report evaluating all marketing promotion with results and recommendations to present to Marketing Manager upon conclusion of each program.
  • Provide consistent feedback to Sales, Marketing & Trade Marketing Managers regarding the success of promotions or negotiated elements.
  • Define the annual permanent Visibility strategy definition, including follow-up and research analysis to understand activation effectiveness and set next steps.

 


Who are we looking for?

 

  • MBA, a university degree in Marketing.
  • 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with category management and consumer/trade monitoring.
  • Computer skills: good level of Office and other design programs.
  • Perfect communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent Spanish & English.
