Are you passionate about managing master data within the FMCG industry? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for a full-time Master Data Specialist to join our team in the Netherlands.
MASTER DATA SPECIALIST
This role ensures business continuity of the logistics information flow by monitoring, maintaining and controlling master data within JTI and between JTI and the third party logistics provider. Primary responsibilities are within material and customer master data master data, process control with operational understanding of EDI/interfacing between JTI and 3PL priovider. Back up for Track & Trace compliancy monitoring, problem solving and reporting. Back up for warehouse inventory management and SAP-WMS alignment.
Position:
- Customer Master Data: Responsible for maintaining Customer Master Data in SAP, including account openings, changes, and closures per JSOX requirements. This role involves utilizing SAP and sourcing information from CRM systems to ensure alignment between JTI and logistics providers serving the direct-to-retail trade.
- Satellite Systems: Ownership of JTI data on the e-commerce platform and logistics data in TME Connect. Maintains operational logistics data to ensure efficient sales order processing in SAP. This role collaborates closely with internal and external IT functions to manage interfaces between JTI, 3PL, and TME Connect.
- Track & Trace Compliance (Retailer and UID issuer): Safeguard full compliance with EU TPD TTT requirements for DTR customers. Responsible for registering and maintaining valid EOID and FIDs in JTI systems, as issued by the UID issuer. Acts as the JTI point of contact for the UID issuer and provides support on DTR components and general TTT topics. Serves as the primary backup for the logistics associate on TTT compliance.
- Direct-to-Retail (DTR) Reporting: Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting on DTR KPIs to and from the third-party logistics provider (3PL). Analyzes reports from the 3PL and compiles internal summaries. Provides the 3PL with data on customer order frequency and volume forecasts, based on insights from JTI demand planners and sales functions.
- Continous Improvement: Dedicated to driving process improvement by developing and implementing new tools for continuous improvement and digitalization. Collaborates with local and global teams to integrate the latest toolsets effectively.
Within 6 months you will:
- Integrate into the new team and navigate the unique company culture and dynamics.
- Gain proficiency in data management tools and software systems.
Requirements:
- Higher Professional Education (HBO Bachelor).
- Work experience in SAP Sales & Distribution with strong IT literacy (preferably 3 years or more).
- Fluent Dutch & English.
- PC literacy: Advanced MS Excel (required), along with Word, Outlook, and SAP.
- Strong stakeholder management.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
