Then we have the perfect role for you. For our People & Culture team, we are looking for an ambitious full-time Compensation & Benefits in Amstelveen.


As Compensation & Benefits Manager you will be responsible for the overall Compensation & Benefits (C&B) processes of both local and expat assignees in line with local and global JTI policies, procedures, and processes. You will work on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for all payroll-related elements in line with JTI global deadlines. You will analyze monthly variance between actuals and budgets and ensure compliance with wage tax regulations. The Compensation & Benefits Manager will work in the People & Culture Benelux team and report to the People & Culture Director Benelux.



  • Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of HR administration, company’s payroll, payroll tax, and labor regulations requirements
  • Prepare the annual Salary and Fringe budget in line with deadlines and guidelines for Annual Strategic Plan submissions; Prepare salary forecasts
  • Manage company benefits schemes and compensation programs in line with local and Global JTI guidelines and instructions.
  • Coordinate the Annual Salary Review process, participate in annual salary surveys
  • Analyse market trends in terms of C&B
  • Be the contact person for external C&B partners and providers (payroll, pension, insurances, etc.)
  • Manage employee administration throughout the full employee life cycle from on to offboarding
  • Introduce and onboard new employees regarding JTI's compensation & reward processes




  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Human Resources, Law, Finance or equivalent by experience
  • Few years of experience in a similar position, which includes payroll & salary administration and accounting & budgeting for all payroll-related processes. Experience with local & international labor agreements and relocation of employees.
  • Fluent English and Dutch, both written and verbal.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel Knowledge), SAP, Payroll systems
